Venom is a 2018 American science fiction antihero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, a journalist who becomes the host of Venom, an alien symbiote that grants him superhuman abilities. Venom is directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Kelly Marcel, Scott Rosenberg, and Jeff Pinkner.
