Czech Flag: Same as Former Czechoslovakia's, Yet Unique
History and Design
The Czech Republic's flag, known as "Státní vlajka České republiky," is identical to the flag that represented the former Czechoslovakia. It comprises two equal horizontal stripes, with white on top and red on the bottom. A blue triangle extends from the left side, creating a distinctive design.
Technical Specifications
The Czech flag has a width-to-length ratio of 2:3. The white and red stripes are equal in width, while the height of the blue triangle is equal to half the flag's width.
