Dončić Probable for Game 1 of NBA Finals Despite Right Knee Sprain

After Decisive Victory Against Timberwolves, Dončić Ready for Finals

Luka Dončić is expected to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics on Thursday despite a right knee sprain. The Dallas Mavericks star sustained the injury in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns but returned to action in Game 4 and played a key role in the series victory.

Dončić Eager for Success

After leading the Mavericks to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2011, Dončić is eager to make history. The 23-year-old Slovenian guard is averaging 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game in the playoffs and has been the driving force behind Dallas' success.

Dončić's return to the lineup for Game 1 is a major boost for the Mavericks, who will need all hands on deck to challenge the experienced Celtics. The series begins on Thursday in San Francisco.
