Oilers Win Game 5, Move on to Western Conference Final

Edmonton Oilers beat the Vancouver Canucks in game 5 of the second round.

The Edmonton Oilers are moving on to the Western Conference Final after defeating the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 in Game 5 of their second-round series. The Oilers won the series 4-1.

Connor McDavid led the way for the Oilers with a goal and an assist. Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard also scored for Edmonton. Thatcher Demko made 26 saves in goal for the Canucks.

The Oilers will now face the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference Final.

The Avalanche are the defending Stanley Cup champions and are the top seed in the Western Conference. The two teams will begin their series on Tuesday night in Edmonton.
