Israel Kills Hezbollah Field Commander in Lebanon Strike

Raid on Palestinian Refugee Camp Continues

Lebanese Interior Minister Condemns Abduction and Killing

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed a senior Hezbollah field commander in an airstrike in Lebanon on Friday, according to Lebanese security sources. The commander, identified as Ali Kamal Mohsen, was responsible for coordinating Hezbollah's operations in the region.

The strike comes amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, a Lebanese Shia Islamist militant group. In recent months, there have been several cross-border incidents, including rocket fire from Lebanon and airstrikes by Israel.

Separately, Israeli forces continued their raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp in the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem on Saturday. The raid, which began on Friday, is part of a broader crackdown on Palestinian militant groups in the area.

Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi condemned the abduction and killing of a Lebanese currency dealer with links to Hezbollah on Friday. The incident, which occurred in Beirut, was the latest in a series of violent events linked to the Saudi-Lebanese dispute.
